Würth Elektronik ICS presents the Original Powerelement Online-Shop and the new high-current element PowerOne SMD
(industrietreff) - Würth Elektronik ICS is launching PowerOne SMD, a new high-current element for mounting on printed circuit boards in SMD technology. The new power element and the complete range of high-current elements from Würth Elektronik ICS are now also available in the new Original Powerelement Online-Shop at www.we-online.com/pe.
The PowerOne SMD high current elements are the result of consistent ongoing development performed on the single-piece power elements from Würth Elektronik ICS. As regular press-in technology or through-hole technology (THT) is not suitable for every mounting process, Würth Elektronik ICS is offering an alternative solution with the new version of the PowerOne power element. The versatile SMD high-current elements can be processed with the typical SMT lines and are soldered in an infrared furnace or using the steam phase system. Depending on the layout, currents of up to 300A are possible, which is why these power elements are suitable as connection elements for fuses, for cables on the printed circuit board or as mounting elements. The PowerOne SMD power elements are available in four variants, from M4 to M8. They are soldered onto the printed circuit board and simply fit into the process chain of a SMD line. The maximum torque of PowerOne SMD is the same as the torque of the classic PowerOne elements. An M8 PowerOne SMD, for instance, has a maximum torque of 9 Nm.
The PowerOne SMD high-current elements and the full, comprehensive range of Würth Elektronik ICS power elements are now available in the company's own Online Shop at www.we-online.com/pe. Registered customers can do more than simply buy power elements directly. They can now benefit from the online offers in the shop. There, they can also find detailed technical information about the products and technologies, and can even configure their power elements themselves. The comprehensive search function allows every customer to quickly find the product that's right for them. Custom-made power elements can be produced from as little as just one single item purchased, in line with buyers' wishes. What's more, registered customers can also make use of the free sample service. Rapid order processing and short delivery times round off the wealth of benefits that the Original Powerelement Online Shop offers. To celebrate the shop opening, Würth Elektronik ICS is offering a 10% discount on its customers' first orders.
